Holiday Stroll 2001

A fun packed event on Friday November 30th, 2001 (5:30pm to 9:30pm) and Saturday December 1st, 2000 (9am to 4pm) for the whole family. Prize drawings and a scavenger hunt will add to the excitement.

The Holiday Outpost (information, carriage rides, giving tree registration, raffle tickets and scavenger hunt tickets) will be located at the corner of Main and Bailey to answer all your questions.

Friday November 30th

6:00-9:30pm Strolling Carolers
Several Groups of Caroling Ensembles will be a highlight again this year

6:00pm HorseDrawn Carriage Rides
Families can enjoy rides down Main Street
Continuing throughout the evening

6:00-7:30pm Call Santa at the North Pole:
Bring the children to the Catoonah St. firehouse so they can talk to Santa on the phone

6:00-9:30pm Scavenger Hunt and Raffle Program
Participate in the Scavenger Hunt and Raffle sposored by participating Downtown Ridgefield merchants

7:00pm Movie and Childcare
Downstairs Town Hall
You can enjoy elegant Shopping in Ridgefields finest stores while your kids enjoy a free holiday movie

8:00 Community Candlelight Carol Sing
The community is invited to gather in North Hall at St. Stephans Church for a special candelight carol sing

Saturday December 1st

The holiday stroll will join with the "Breakfast with Santa" hosted by the Service Clubs of Ridgefield (SCOR) at the Recreation Center early in the morning. Scavenger Hunt and Raffle Tickets will be on hand for all who come to the breakfast to later enjoy a day in Downtown Ridgefield.

10am-4pm Strolling Carolers Caroling Ensembles will continue throughout the day

1:00-3:00pm Photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus
Town Hall Lobby
Bring your children to tell Santa what they want for Christmas and have a photo taken.
